Why we exist
Cold storage is still physical. Devices live in safes, courier pouches, and secondary sites across Hong Kong. Spreadsheets drift. Firmware ages. Spares move with people who leave. Distributed Sys Digital was formed to run offline wallet tracker reviews — structured, device-by-device — so rotation decisions are made against what is actually held.
Origin
The practice started after repeated guest work with family offices in Kowloon Bay and Central that treated hardware wallets as “set once” objects. The same gaps appeared: no dated recovery proof, travel devices never re-entered the rotation queue, and two registers that disagreed. We wrote a checklist, tested it on live inventories, and made the review the product.
How we work
- We come to your secure room, or you use our meeting space at Tower 2, Enterprise Square.
- Seed material never leaves your custody; we do not photograph seed cards.
- Findings are written in plain language for operations leads, not buried in jargon.
- We decline engagements that require us to hold recovery phrases or operate unsigned software on your behalf.
People
Reviews are led by practitioners who have run custody operations desks and independent inventory audits. You meet the same facilitator from intake through handover — we do not rotate anonymous junior staff through your safe room.
Values that show up on the day
Patience over speed. Rushing a fleet review is how serials get skipped.
Evidence over assumption. If a device is not on the table, it is not “probably fine.”
Local accountability. Hong Kong time zone, Hong Kong phone number, face-to-face when the room requires it.

We share non-sensitive field notes on this site — rotation habits, recovery drill friction, inventory hygiene — so teams that are not yet clients can still tighten their own checklists.
